ADELEKE’S COMMITMENT TO YOUTH DEVELOPMENT GAINS VISIBILITY AS OSUN COMMISSIONER FOR YOUTH AFFAIRS INSPECTS NYSC CAMP RENOVATION IN EDE
The Honourable Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, on Monday carried out an on-site inspection of the ongoing renovation at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp in Ede, Osun State, reaffirming the administration’s strong commitment to youth welfare and infrastructural development.
 
 
During the visit, the Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work, noting that the project reflects the priority placed on youth-focused initiatives by the administration of Governor Senator (Dr.) Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
 
 
He emphasized that the renovation of the NYSC Orientation Camp will significantly enhance the living and training conditions of corps members posted to the state, while also strengthening Osun’s reputation as a youth-friendly destination.
 
 
“This project underscores the visionary leadership of His Excellency, who remains committed to investing in the future of our young people. The NYSC scheme is a vital platform for national unity and youth development, and this administration is determined to provide a conducive environment for its success,” the Commissioner stated.
The inspection team included Hon. Babawale Jamiu Popoola, Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth and Strategic Engagement, alongside other key stakeholders.
 
 
 
 
As Osun State gradually approaches another gubernatorial election cycle, the Adeleke-led administration continues to highlight its developmental achievements, particularly in sectors impacting young people. The ongoing NYSC camp renovation stands as a key initiative aimed at boosting public confidence and demonstrating responsive governance.
 
 
The state government has reiterated its commitment to delivering the project on schedule, ensuring that future batches of corps members benefit from improved and modernized facilities.
