The Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, has congratulated the Governor of Osun State on his re-election, describing the renewed mandate as a clear demonstration of the people’s confidence in his leadership and a call to greater service.
In a statement issued to congratulate the governor, Hon. Olagunju described the victory as a significant moment in the political and developmental journey of Osun State, stressing that the renewed mandate comes with greater expectations and responsibilities to the people

The Commissioner commended the people of Osun State for their participation in the democratic process, noting that the outcome reflects their continued confidence in the governor’s vision, leadership and commitment to the development of the state.
According to him, the re-election provides an opportunity for the administration to consolidate its achievements, strengthen ongoing reforms and pursue policies that will further improve the lives of residents across the state.
“This victory is not merely a personal triumph for Your Excellency; it is a renewed call to service and a greater responsibility to the good people of Osun State. Your re-election demonstrates the confidence the people have in your leadership and their expectation that you will take the state to greater heights,” Hon. Olagunju said.
The Youth Commissioner expressed particular optimism about the prospects of Osun youths under the governor’s renewed mandate, calling for greater attention to youth empowerment, skills acquisition, employment, entrepreneurship and opportunities for young people to contribute meaningfully to governance and economic development.
He said a prosperous Osun must be built around the energy, creativity and potential of its youthful population, assuring that the Ministry of Youth Affairs would continue to support and champion programmes that advance the interests and aspirations of young people across the state.
Hon. Olagunju also congratulated members of the administration, political stakeholders, supporters and residents of Osun State, urging them to see the renewed mandate as a collective responsibility to build a more peaceful, prosperous and united state.
He called on all stakeholders to close ranks and work together beyond political considerations, stressing that the ultimate objective should be the development of Osun State and the improvement of the welfare of its people.
The Commissioner wished the governor wisdom, strength and good health as he assumes another term in office, expressing confidence that the renewed mandate would usher in greater achievements, stronger youth development initiatives and a brighter future for the people of Osun State.
