‎COMMISSIONER OLAGUNJU MOSHOOD OLALEKAN URGES OSUN CITIZENS, ESPECIALLY YOUTHS, TO EMBRACE CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY AS PVC REGISTRATION COMMENCES AUGUST 18,2025

‎In a passionate call to action, the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Osun State, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, has enjoined the general public , particularly the vibrant and dynamic youth of Osun State, to seize the opportunity of the forthcoming Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) registration exercise slated to commence on August 18, 2025.

‎Speaking from his office, the Commissioner underscored the importance of political participation, stressing that the PVC is not merely a card, but a powerful emblem of democratic influence and societal transformation.

‎He emphasized that the youth, being the heartbeat and catalytic engine of the state’s progress, must not abdicate their civic duty. According to him, “The future belongs to those who prepare for it. The first step towards shaping our collective destiny is by obtaining the PVC , your voice, your vote, your power.”

‎Hon. Olagunju implored all eligible citizens who are yet to register to do so promptly, urging religious institutions, community leaders, student bodies, and civil society organizations to galvanize efforts towards mass mobilization.

‎He concluded by reaffirming the state government’s commitment to nurturing a politically conscious generation, while advocating for peace, discipline, and purpose-driven involvement in the democratic process.
