GOVERNOR ADEMOLA ADELEKE OPENS NYSC BATCH 'B' STREAM II ORIENTATION IN OSUN STATE, EMPHASIZES INTEGRITY AND SERVICE
‎Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, Commissioner for Youth Affairs in Osun State, represented Governor Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke at the swearing-in and official opening ceremony of the 2025 Batch 'B' Stream II orientation programme for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ede, Osun State, today.
 
‎Governor Adeleke, in an address delivered at the event, welcomed the corps members to Osun State on behalf of the government and people of the state, highlighting the NYSC scheme's role in promoting unity, youth engagement, and national development.
 
‎He commended NYSC management for upholding the scheme's ideals and stressed that integrity should be the watchword for all associated with the programme.
 
‎"The core values of this noble Scheme , Selfless Service, Integrity, Efficiency, Commitment, and Teamwork ,must be protected," Governor Adeleke said, assuring that his administration would support NYSC objectives and ensure corps members are safe, respected, and engaged in Osun State.
 
‎The Governor urged corps members to be good ambassadors, agents of positive change, and leave lasting legacies of service in their host communities. "Serve with honour, live with purpose, and make Osun State, your State of origin, and Nigeria proud," he charged.
 
‎Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, representing the Governor, affirmed the state's commitment to youth development and engagement. Governor Adeleke declared the three-week orientation course for the 2025 Batch 'B' Stream II corps members open, wishing them a successful orientation and service year. The event underscores Osun State's commitment to youth engagement and national service.
