Our attention has been drawn to a misleading report published by a blog, Insight Links TV, alleging that a member of the Imole Youth Corps abandoned his teaching assignment due to poor remuneration, without providing any credible evidence or verified details.
This unfounded claim, clearly sponsored by opposition data boys, is another attempt to undermine the remarkable achievements of Governor Ademola Adeleke through the Imole Youth Corps - one of the fulfilled campaign promises of this administration.
It is important to state that the Imole Youth Corps, just like previous state empowerment schemes likes OYES, Oyin Corps, and national empowerment schemes likes Sure-P and Npower are deployed beneficiaries to critical sectors including Education, Environment, and Health. Available records strongly suggest that Governor Ademola Adeleke currently pays the highest remuneration ever provided under such youth engagement programmes in Osun State and National.
For clarity, the Imole Youth Corps has no record whatsoever of any member resigning due to remuneration or any related issue, contrary to the claims by Insight Links.
We challenge the platform to provide verifiable evidence to support its publication. Spreading false information to mislead the public is not only irresponsible but also a criminal offence.
As members of the Imole Youth Corps, we affirm that Governor Ademola Adeleke has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the success of the scheme. Payments are made promptly, members are well-motivated, and last month, His Excellency provided essential paraphernalia for improved service delivery through the Hon. Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan. We remain grateful.

In conclusion, we urge the good people of Osun State to continue supporting our “Talk and Do Governor.” His infrastructural strides, such as the Oke-Fia Flyover, road connection, and others which has transformed the state capital are visible proofs of purposeful leadership.
