IMOLE YOUTH CORPS REMAINS A STRONG LEGACY OF GOVERNOR ADELEKE’S AGENDA, MORE RECRUITMENT UNDERWAY
The Honourable Commissioner for Youth Affairs in Osun State, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, has reaffirmed the loyalty and commitment of the Imole Youth Corps (IYC) to the youth-friendly leadership of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.

In a statement issued today in Osogbo, Olagunju emphasized that the IYC is more than just a government initiative; it is a people-centered movement built on the ideals, integrity, and innovation that Governor Adeleke embodies.

“Let it be clearly stated that the Imole Youth Corps stands with His Excellency, Governor Adeleke, regardless of his partisan realignment or political direction,” Olagunju declared. “The IYC is rooted in the Governor’s commitment to youth development, civic engagement, and community service. As long as His Excellency continues to lead with purpose, the corps will follow in loyalty and in deed.”

The Commissioner also reassured all members of the public and existing Corps members that the IYC scheme remains secure and sustainable, with no threat to its continuity or relevance. He further revealed that preparations are already underway for additional recruitment of young people into the program to broaden its reach and impact across Osun State.

“We are proud of what we have achieved so far with the IYC, but we are not stopping here. More young people will be empowered and brought into this transformational fold,” he said.

The Commission for Youth Affairs used the opportunity to call on all current and prospective members of the Imole Youth Corps to remain diligent, dedicated, and proactive in their duties. He urged them to wear the badge of Imole with pride, to serve with passion, and to always uphold the values of excellence, service, and unity.

“You are the face of a new Osun. Serve your communities with integrity, discipline, and innovation. You are not just corps members—you are ambassadors of light, and the future of this state rests on your shoulders,” Hon. Olagunju concluded.

The Osun State Ministry of Youth Affairs reiterates its commitment to Governor Adeleke’s agenda for youth empowerment and assures citizens that the Imole Youth Corps will remain a beacon of progress and purpose under the leadership of this administration.
