The Osun State Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, has reiterated the importance of youth inclusion in governance during the Osun Youth Stakeholders Program held at the Oasis Event and Conference Centre, Osogbo.
The event, themed “Youth Inclusion, Participation, and Decision-Making,” brought together young people from across the 30 local government areas and the area office, representing diverse professions and communities. Participants presented fresh ideas and initiatives aimed at deepening youth involvement in governance and decision-making.
In his address, Hon. Olagunju Moshood stressed the need to create platforms and opportunities for young people to contribute meaningfully to governance.
He also, emphasized that such engagements are crucial in building the trust of Osun youth in the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, while also advancing the government’s transformation agenda.

The Commissioner expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Dr. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for his youth-friendly leadership and for appointing young people into strategic positions in government. He further encouraged the youth to remain active in politics, pursue mentorship, develop capacity, and uphold values of integrity, unity, and teamwork.
