OSUN YOUTH STAKEHOLDERS 2025: COMMISSIONER OLAGUNJU MOSHOOD OLALEKAN CHAMPIONS YOUTH INCLUSION IN GOVERNANCE
‎The Osun State Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, has reiterated the importance of youth inclusion in governance during the Osun Youth Stakeholders Program held at the Oasis Event and Conference Centre, Osogbo.
 
‎The event, themed “Youth Inclusion, Participation, and Decision-Making,” brought together young people from across the 30 local government areas and the area office, representing diverse professions and communities. Participants presented fresh ideas and initiatives aimed at deepening youth involvement in governance and decision-making.
 
‎In his address, Hon. Olagunju Moshood stressed the need to create platforms and opportunities for young people to contribute meaningfully to governance.
 
‎He also, emphasized that such engagements are crucial in building the trust of Osun youth in the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, while also advancing the government’s transformation agenda.
 
‎Discussions at the program focused on key areas such as youth leadership inclusion and youth empowerment, as Hon. Abdulmajeed Oyeniyi,SA on youth Affairs was the host of the laudable program
 
‎The Commissioner expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Dr. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for his youth-friendly leadership and for appointing young people into strategic positions in government. He further encouraged the youth to remain active in politics, pursue mentorship, develop capacity, and uphold values of integrity, unity, and teamwork.
 
‎The event was graced by top dignitaries, including: Prof. Chinwe Obuaku-Igwe, Director General and Special Envoy on Climate Change and Renewable Energy; Hon. Olaniyan Oyeniyi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Affairs; Hon. Stephen Famokunwa, SSA on Imọlẹ Youth Corps; Hon. Ajala Adetunji, SSA on Rural Development and Community Affairs; Hon. Ridwan Ayofe, SSA on O’Signage; Prince Gbenga Adewole, Osun State PDP Youth Leader, Hon. Segun Oyewale, Special Assistant on Youth Mobilization; Hon. Jamiu Popoola Babawale, Special Assistant on Youth and Strategic Engagement; Hon. Ojo Raymond, Special Assistant on Youth Mobilization; Hon. Adekunle Akinrinade, Special Assistant on Youth in Parliament/Legislative Matters; Mrs. Taiwo Oladunjoye, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth Affairs; Comr. Oluwasanmi A. Olabisi,
