The Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Osun State, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, has expressed profound appreciation to the youths of Osun State, both at home and in the diaspora, for their overwhelming support and active participation in the successful re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
In a statement issued following the election, the Commissioner commended Osun youths for their mobilisation, solidarity, prayers, peaceful conduct, and active participation throughout the electoral process, noting that their collective efforts contributed significantly to the Governor’s victory at the polls.
Hon. Olagunju described the massive support of the youths as a clear demonstration of their confidence in the administration of Governor Adeleke and its vision for sustainable development and improved welfare of the people of Osun State.
He noted that the outcome of the election had once again underscored the strategic importance of youths as critical stakeholders in the political, economic, and developmental affairs of the state.
The Commissioner particularly appreciated youths across the 30 Local Government Areas of Osun State, as well as Osun indigenes and youths in the diaspora, for standing united in support of the Governor and for contributing positively to the electoral process.
He urged the youths to sustain their unity, peaceful disposition, and commitment to the development of the state, assuring them that the government would continue to prioritise issues relating to youth empowerment, employment, skills development, education, and their overall welfare.
According to him, the re-election victory should be regarded as a collective achievement and a renewed opportunity for the government and the youths to strengthen their partnership towards building a more prosperous, peaceful, and progressive Osun State.
Hon. Olagunju further congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his electoral victory, expressing confidence that the renewed mandate would usher in greater opportunities, stronger youth inclusion, and accelerated development across the state.
The Commissioner concluded by thanking all Osun youths for their unwavering support, describing their contribution to the electoral victory as invaluable and reaffirming the commitment of the Ministry of Youth Affairs to working closely with them in advancing the development of Osun State.
