Osun State Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, has extended warm Eid-el-Fitr greetings to the people of Osun State, especially the vibrant youth of the state, as they celebrate the successful completion of Ramadan.
In a statement released from his office, Hon. Olagunju congratulated faithful Muslims on the completion of the Holy Ramadan, urging them to uphold the love and unity which Ramadan signifies.
"As we mark this auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to all Muslim brothers and sisters across the State. This season reminds us of the values of sacrifice, patience, and devotion to Allah. Moreover, I encourage youth to contribute meaningfully to the development of our state," he stated.
Hon. Olagunju also reaffirmed the state government's commitment to youth empowerment and development, stressing that the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke remains dedicated to creating opportunities for youth in various sectors.
Hon. Olagunju further urged the youth to avoid social vices and embrace what can promote peace and harmony in the state.
Conclusively, Hon. Olagunju prayed for the continued progress, unity and prosperity of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole.
