The much-anticipated IMOLE Youth Corps scheme is set to commence, with congratulatory messages already sent to successful applicants. The Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan under the administration of Sen. Dr. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, confirmed this during a briefing, announcing that the distribution of kits to the 10,000 beneficiaries is underway.
According to Hon. Olagunju, the congratulatory messages officially mark the beneficiaries' enrollment in the empowerment program. He encouraged those who were not shortlisted to remain patient, assuring them that another round of empowerment opportunities would soon be available, where they could also benefit.
In his address, Hon. Olagunju urged members of the IMOLE Youth Corps to perform their duties with diligence and commitment, emphasizing that periodic inspections would be conducted to ensure compliance and productivity.
He further advised the youth to uphold exemplary behavior and actively engage in meaningful activities, reminding them of the age-old adage that "an idle mind is the devil's workshop."
The IMOLE Youth Corps is part of the government’s broader initiative to enhance youth engagement, create employment opportunities, and foster economic empowerment across the state.
