As Osun Commissioner for Youth Affairs Hosts Imole Youth Corps, Reinforces Governor Adeleke's Focus....
The Honourable Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan (OMO), today hosted coordinators of the Imį»lįŗ¹ Youth Corps (IYC) from all 31 Local Government Areas and the Area Office in Osun State.
The IYC coordinators unanimously expressed their profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator (Dr.)Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for the empowerment and opportunities provided to them through the initiative.
During the meeting, the youth leaders lauded the Governor and the Ministry of Youth Affairs for the prompt payment of stipends and their swift responsiveness to their needs.
Mr. Areoye Sayo James from Boripe Local Government delivered the opening prayer and specifically acknowledged the Governor's commitment to timely payments and commended Hon. Olagunju's efforts as a leading advocate for youth development in the state.
Mr. Sunday Arinola, the IYC coordinator for Obokun Local Government, affirmed the unwavering support of Obokun youths for Governor Ademola Adeleke. He dismissed the recent defection of Hon. Wole Oke as inconsequential to their dedication. Mr. Peter Tope from Oriade Local Government echoed this sentiment, lending his full support.
Speaking on behalf of Atakumosa West Local Government, Mr. įŗøsan Idowu pledged the IYC's complete and unwavering commitment to the re-election of His Excellency Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Mr. Awolaju Lukman, coordinator for Ife Central, expressed his gratitude to Commissioner Olagunju for his accessibility, proactive approach, and open-door policy.
Other Local Government coordinators who contributed to the meeting included: Mr. Oyewade Adedotun (Area Office), Mr. Gbadebo Jamiu (Olorunda), Mr. Olayinka Odebisi (Ejigbo), Ms. Tolulope Odudele (Boluwaduro), Mr. Lawal Omoyele Saheed (Isokan), and Mr. Lawal Mubarak (Ede North), who delivered the closing prayer.
In his address, Hon. Commissioner Olagunju emphasized Governor Adeleke's unwavering commitment to prioritizing the welfare of Osun State youths through various engagement, empowerment, and development programs.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Mrs. Taiwo Oladunjoye, urged the IYC coordinators to continue working diligently, promptly, and consistently in their respective roles.
