...As Popular Entertainers Iya Swagger and Twins Comedian Seek Commissioner's Support for "Comedy Express" Event

Honourable Commissioner for Youth Affairs; Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan hosted Osun entertainers Iya Swagger and Twins Comedian earlier today. The purpose of their visit was to seek the support of the Ministry for their upcoming event, "Comedy Express," scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 18th, 2025, at the Adebimpe Event Centre in Osogbo, Osun State.

Hon. Olagunju declared the unwavering commitment of the Osun State Ministry of Youth Affairs to the empowerment of young people. He stated, "We have talented and industrious youths in Osun State, and what they need is support. In line with Governor Ademola Adeleke's youth-friendly administration, the Osun Ministry of Youth Affairs under my leadership is committed to their empowerment."

During the meeting, Iya Swagger and Twins Comedian praised the Commissioner's accessibility, highlighted the vibrant and burgeoning youth talent within Osun State. They emphasized the need for support and platforms to showcase the creative potential of young individuals in the entertainment industry. The "Comedy Express" event is envisioned as a platform to celebrate and promote this talent. 

The Commissioner assured Iya Swagger and Twins Comedian of the Ministry's consideration for their request and expressed his enthusiasm for initiatives that provide opportunities for youth engagement and development within the state.
