The Osun State Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, has extended warm greetings and appreciation to all workers in Osun State as they join the rest of the world in celebrating the 2025 International Workers’ Day.
In a statement released from his office in Osogbo on Thursday, Hon. Olagunju praised the commitment, resilience, and dedication of Osun workers across various sectors, noting that their hard work remains the pillar of the state’s growth and development.
“Today, we celebrate the strength of our society, the hardworking men and women whose efforts drive our economy and ensure the continuous progress of Osun State,” Hon. Olagunju said. “As we mark this year’s Workers’ Day, I reaffirm my commitment to supporting initiatives that promote youth employment, empowerment, and capacity building for sustainable development.”
The Commissioner urged workers to continue to uphold professionalism, diligence, and integrity in their duties, assuring them of the government’s continued efforts to improve their welfare and create an enabling environment for growth.
He also called on youths in the state to remain focused, innovative, and committed to positive contributions towards the state’s advancement.
“As we look toward a brighter future, let us continue to work together to build an Osun State we can all be proud of,” he added.
